Camber

A term used to describe the angle of the wheels against the ground. Zero degrees camber results in the wheels being perpendicular to the ground. A positive camber setting indicates the wheel is leaning out at the top, while with negative camber the wheels will lean in. Although it would seem that zero degrees of camber would be ideal, many stock vehicles actually have a very slight amount of negative camber from the factory in the front, rear, or both for better handling. Adding negative camber is often not only done for performance, but also for aesthetic reasons, as is popular with the “stance” movement.

"He had so much negative camber I could stick my foot under his tires."

Left image: No, this car isn’t broken. This an extreme case of camber, known by some as “demon camber” or “oni camber.” The suspension is highly modified to allow excessive amounts of negative camber, and in a lot cases the suspension is not adjustable, meaning that the cars also ride extremely low to the ground.

Right image:Yeah. Don’t try this at home.
