After the installation of either an Eibach PRO-KIT, SPORTLINE spring kit or PRO-STREET, R1, R2 coil-over kit in a Ford Mustang, Eibach recommend the installation of the Eibach Pro-Alignment Panhard Bar. The Eibach Panhard Bar eliminates the unstable and unpredictable behavior during cornering caused by the Rear Axle becoming un-centered after the vehicle is lowered.
Eibach also offers a complete range of PRO-ALIGNMENT kits, which provide a simple, affordable solution to correct excessive negative camber. These alignment kits not only assist in adjusting camber back to factory specifications for vehicles, but they also allow an experienced chassis tuner to utilize the increased adjustment range to "dial-in" a performance-oriented alignment that uses negative camber to maximize the true potential of a chassis. With correct alignment, turn-in becomes more precise and handling becomes gratifyingly crisp and predictable. It might not always be visible, but having your camber out of adjustment will cause the tire to run on the inside or outside edge only since the tires will be slanted relative to the ground. The lower you go the more negative camber you will get and the faster the tire will wear. There are different camber kits available to combat this problem; the correct kit is determined by how much your camber is away from the factory recommended specification.
