If you are the owner of a vehicle that will not accept stand-alone air springs, Firestone Level-Rite provides an option for adding air springs to your suspension system. The Level-Rite kit includes a pair of high-performance shock absorbers with air springs inside. These shock absorbers replace the existing front-end shocks in your suspension system. The Level-Rite air-spring-and-shock-absorber system is perfect for use with snowplows or off-road applications or for supporting large, heavy grille guards. This system enables you to control your front-end ground clearance, leveling your vehicle. That's an important benefit, because leveling your truck improves steering and balance, levels your headlight beams, and reduces wear on your tires. Level-Rite also reduces strain on the front suspension of your vehicle, preventing permanent sagging and excessive friction in your torsion bars.

Adjustable Air Pressure

The air pressure in your Level-Rite springs can be adjusted manually, side to side, to compensate for off-center loads. A centered load improves the stability of your vehicle by reducing body roll. The air springs will also help to absorb road shock and to soften contact between your axle and frame. This prevents bottoming out, thus improving ride comfort. Route the air line tubing for the springs to your vehicle's bumper to provide easy access to the manual inflation valves.

Air Spring Construction

The Level-Rite system includes a pair of fully shielded, reversible-sleeve rubber air springs. The springs sit inside high-performance, mono-tube Bilstein shock absorbers that feature billet aluminum pistons and restraining cylinders, which are sure to provide years of service.

Air Spring Installation

The Level-Rite shock absorbers replace your vehicle's existing front shocks. Simply remove the old shocks and use the included hex nuts, washers and polyurethane bushings to install Level-Rite shock absorbers in their place.
