GMS Rotors Feature Scraper Slots – These fully dissipate heat, increase bite and reduce stopping distance. Our slots also help to de-glaze and even out brake pads while throwing dust and debris away from the wheels. It also sheds water under-wet driving conditions.
GMS Rotors Feature Drilled (Dimpled) Holes - We do not drill our rotors completely through, because cross drilling sacrifices the structural integrity of the rotor which causes warping and cracking. A major feature of our blind degassing dimpled holes is that it extends the life of the rotors and pads and they dissipate heat with maximum braking performance under all necessary driving conditions. This allows us to offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY against warping and cracking.

Q: How do you install rotors?
A: Rotors are installed by removing the entire brake assembly and caliper. Once removed, the factory rotor is taken off and the aftermarket rotor is installed. Everything is re-installed back together. Installing new brake pads is usually done at the same time rotors are being replaced.
Q: Do rotors come in sets of 4?
A: Rotors are sold individually, per side, unless otherwise noted on our website. Rotors should normally be replaced in sets of two; you should buy 2 rotors for the front, or 2 rotors for the rear, or all 4 at once.

Some rotors have cooling fins between both faces are called "vented" rotors, or drilled which are called "cross-drilled" rotors. You don't want to beef up the performance of your car without also improving your stopping power.
