Description:
Hawk High Performance Street Brake Pads (HPS) are world-renowned for increasing stopping power on your street legal vehicle. Hawk Performance’s engineers developed the HPS compound by blending the safety and quality aspects of Aerospace design with braking technology derived from Motorsports efforts. The result is a unique Ferro-Carbon brake compound that delivers significant advantages of increased stopping power, extended pad life, extended rotor life and low dust properties for street applications.

Our high performance street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20-40% more stopping power, with higher resistance to brake fade than standard replacement pads.

HPS Brake Pad Key Features:
• Increased stopping power
• High friction/torque hot or cold
• Gentle on rotors
• Extended pad life
• Low dust
• Virtually noise-free
• Ideal for import and domestic automobiles

FAQs
Q: What do brake pads do? Why buy brake pads?
A: Brake pads are what slow your vehicle down by transforming speed into heat against the rotor. Aftermarket brake pads outperform stock in terms of stopping ability. Brake pads are a great means of giving your car more stopping power without spending too much money.

Q: How do you install brake pads?
A: Brake pads are the easiest component in the brake system to install. Removal of your stock brake pads out of the caliper is needed before the new ones are installed. Your brake system should be bled after installing brake pads.

Q: Do brake pads come in set of 4?
A: Unless otherwise noted, brake pads are sold in pairs, meaning that you buy one set for the front and one set for the rear. Check product descriptions on our site for more details.
