Due to the manufacturing specifications of some brands of long tube headers and exhaust, it may be necessary for some cars running the Chassis Max brace to purchase this shim kit to clear the exhaust system. We offer this aluminum shim kit which will lower the entire brace assembly 1/2". Kit comes complete with 6 aluminum spacers and longer grade 10.9 hardware.

Q: What are subframe spacers? Why buy them?
A: Subframe spacers allow you to drop your suspension or drivetrain subframes for improved driveline angles, better suspension geometry, and as a method of getting rid of clunks and noises. These spacers are especially useful if you have altered the ride height of your vehicle. Frequently these modifications will cause your driveline angles to go out of whack and create incorrect suspension geometry. This in turn can create poor handling characteristics and cause your driveline components to wear out prematurely. Instead of living with these issues finding the right subframe spacers is an inexpensive and easy way to correct your vehicle’s problems.
