Husky Liners was born out of the simple idea that you should be able to take a fishing or camping trip, bring your dog along, and not have to totally destroy your car with mud, sand, grit and who knows what else. Bob Tyler decided that a washable liner was the answer to this problem so he built his own. Now Husky Liner is the go-to brand for bed and cargo area liners. However the Kansas based firm has expanded its lineup to include many other products such as floor mats, storage systems, mud guards, paint protection and much more. With a true dedication to keeping the customer happy it is not uncommon for engineers and designer to speak directly to the customer when a problem arises. Q: What is a headache rack? Why buy one?
A: A headache rack is a rightly named item that mounts in the bed of your truck behind the rear window in order to protect it from being broken by whatever load you are carrying. In theory it is also protecting your head from getting smashed as well. We have seen it countless times at the hardware store. A guy puts a load of pipes or lumber in his truck with one end facing the window. The first time he stabs the brakes the load slides right into the glass causing it to crack.
