KYB's Gas-A-Just shocks are performance shocks that are designed to give better shock performance than your factory shocks. Gas-A-Just shocks have a mono-tube design, which gives the gas inside the shock less distance to travel to provide shock absorption. The result is that they respond faster than your OEM factory shocks and are more stable. In particular, if you push your vehicle’s performance regularly, the Gas-A-Just shocks might be a great way to go since they add vehicle control in performance driving conditions. Gas-A-Just shocks are not adjustable, but they’re specifically engineered for to optimize the ride quality of each specific vehicle they’re made for.
Just to make sure you are getting what you want, this is a quick summary of each of KYB’’s different shocks lines:
AGX: Fully adjustable. Performance shock.
Excel-G: Non-adjustable. Restores factory shock feel.
Gas-a-Just: Non-adjustable. Performance shock for cars.
