P-Flo 2.0TFSI - Black - The plastic factory airbox is good at muffling intake noise and enhancing low rpm/low speed engine performance, but becomes very restrictive when the engine is operating in the higher rpm range – where most performance drivers need it.
The NEUSPEED® P-Flo kit now offers a choice of two filter types: the time proven oiled multi-layer cotton gauze air filter that is washable and reusable or the new dry paper media filter.
Dry filter features:
• A disposable Filter that will not sacrifice performance.
• Comparable airflow to our Oiled Cotton Filters with the same Great Protection.
• Last for up to 30,000 miles of highway driving. Extend the life of the filter using compressed air to clean off excessive debris.
After months of development, NEUSPEED® has developed an intake pipe size that matches the factory MAF exactly. Because of this fuel trims are not affected and will not trigger any DTCs. In addition, eliminating the OE plastic MAF housing showed an increase in airflow, as no pre-screen is required to reduce turbulence when air is routed through the long piping with its smooth mandrel bends.
Flow bench test results:
• Stock airbox assembly including filter: 346 CFM @ 23"of water
• NEUSPEED® P-FLO Kit including filter: 529 CFM @ 23"of water
Notes:
• Fits: 2006-2008.5 Audi A3 2.0T FSI, 2008 TT(8J) 2.0T FSI, 2006-2008.5 VW EOS, GTI, Jetta V & Passat with 2.0T FSI.
• Available with black wrinkle or red wrinkle powder coat pipe option.
• As the OE engine cover is an integral part of the OE air intake box, it must be removed as part of the installation of the NEUSPEED® P-Flo kit.
• This kit does not fit Passat (B6) with automatic transmission (Tiptronic), use part number: 65.10.79.
• CARB EXEMPT # D236-14 or CARB EXEMPT D-236-11 when used in conjuction with NEUSPEED® P-Chip Engine Management Software.
• Includes aluminum heat shield.

Q: What's the difference between a short ram intake and a cold air intake?
A: Cold air intakes are usually placed in the fender well area, which brings in a cooler charged air from beneath the car (outside of the engine bay), which is denser and therefore creates more power. The piping is a lot longer than a short ram which means the power gains are not seen until the mid to higher RPM band. A short ram intake is located inside the engine bay and creates power with better response times than a cold air, however the air is not as dense, which means that it doesn't make as much power in the upper RPM region and makes less power overall.
Q: How do you install a short ram intake?
A: Short ram intakes are a true bolt-on application. The removal of your factory air box and resonator will be needed and the short air intake installed in its place. Basic hand tools are needed, and the intake installs in minutes.
