PA Performance 2G-3G-4G to 6G Regulator Plug is for anyone performing a Bullitt Mustang Intake Manifold Conversion. In order to use the Bullitt Intake Manifold on a 4.6L engine not originally equipped with the engine (1999 to current), we specifically assembled a kit to put the 4G family alternator back on a 4.6L Mustang which originally was equipped with a 6G family alternator. The 4G alternator is about 30% thinner and required for the added clearance when using the longer intake manifold as on the Bullitt cars.
This is the OEM style adapter plug needed for this conversion. Using this adapter ELIMINATES all wiring modifications. Plug and play. If you ever want to convert back to the 6G alternator, just unplug it.
