The RaceQuip Sportsman Camlock harness set provides the best value in a pure bred racing quick release belt set. These harness sets offer loads of features yet they are priced affordably for the grassroots racer. The RaceQuip Sportsman series Camlock belt set comes in a five (5) point configuration with a pull-down lap belt design. These harness sets exceed the SFI 16.1 specification. Like all RaceQuip harness sets, they can be rewebbed and SFI certified after the expiration date. RaceQuip starts with a lightweight aluminum alloy cam buckle that features an easy engagement cone for snapping the belts into place. Precise internal spring pressure allows a positive feel on the 45˚ (right or left) unlatch lever movement without fear of accidental opening. Next, the drop-forged steel buckle hardware is sewn onto the premium 3” polyester webbing. RaceQuip's proprietary polyester blend webbing is “transverse mono filament woven”, which means that there are mono filament fibers inter-woven into the straps in a pattern that transverses the standard weave. This design accomplishes two tasks - added strength and smoother edges on the belts. The harness sets also feature premium, non-slip steel shoulder adjusters with easy lift grips. The steel lap belt adjusters utilize an anti-slip tensioner device as well. Heavy-duty drop-forged steel slide bars and 3" bolt on ends come already installed, but they can be easily removed if you prefer to mount your belts by wrapping them around a rollbar. Belt adjustment lengths are 25” to 55” for shoulders and 30” to 70” for the lap belt. This RaceQuip Camlock Harness set is available in black, red, or blue.

Q: Why buy a seat harness?
A: A seat harness is another word for a seat belt. But seat harnesses are generally designed with high-performance racing in mind. The seat belt that comes factory on your car is not designed for super high-speed encounters per se; rather it's designed for normal driving conditions. If you're at the race track, you want to be as safe as possible driving at super high speeds. Having a 4-point or 5-point race seat harness can be the difference in protecting your life! Aside from the safety feature, it gives your car a custom race look, even if used on a daily driver.
Q: Are your seat harnesses a street-legal replacement for my seat belts?
