ReadyLift® leveling kits are the fastest, safest, least expensive way to bring the front of your vehicle level with the rear. ReadyLift®'s forged torsion keys are designed to grab the “FLAT” of the torsion bar for a tighter, sturdier fit. CNC machined adjuster bolt pockets ensuring an accurate and safe adjustment. Only ReadyLift® torsion keys are forged, making them 25% stronger than OEM and designed to last the life of your vehicle.
ReadyLift® has the leveling answer 4WD Ford Ranger owners have been seeking. ReadyLift®'s tough made to fit forged 66-2020 1997-2011 Ford Ranger/Edge 4WD and 2WD Torsion Bar leveling torsion key is the strongest on the market and will allow for an increase of 2.25" of leveling lift in the front. ReadyLift®'s new keys are designed to provide the required lift without compromising the ride quality that often occurs when the factory keys are over-rotated. ReadyLift® keys are guaranteed never to affect the OEM ride and will not add more pressure on the stock suspension components. Through ReadyLift®'s innovative engineering, ReadyLift® kits cost thousands less than a traditional lift kit and install in about 1-2 hours.
ReadyLift® Lifetime Warranty Included! All ReadyLift® products are backed by a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your vehicle and includes all necessary parts, hardware, detailed installation instructions, and two color decals.
ReadyLift® 66-2020 Ford Ranger keys require the use of 66-7816A Unloading Tool - ReadyLift® recommends using ONLY the 66-7816A unloading tool when installing leveling keys into a Ford Ranger. Not everyone wants a monster truck that won't fit into the local mall's underground parking lot. Ready Lift has built its whole reputation on the fact that a lot of us would like it if our trucks were just a little bit taller and still rode like the factory intended. The company offers leveling kits that raise the front suspension of your truck or SUV to be even with the rear, and mild front and rear lift kits are available for select vehicles. In all cases, the factory ride is preserved due to the company's unique suspension and shock spacers, giving the vehicle owner a great looking truck that is still comfortable around town, all for a very reasonable price.
Q: What is a torsion key? Why buy them?
A: According to DJM Suspension, "To understand what a torsion bar key does we need to take a look at the whole torsion bar front end. First, a torsion bar is really a spring. It works just like a coil spring except it twists instead of compressing and expanding up and down. The word torsion means - to twist, and a torsion bar is a long bar lying parallel to the frame and the ground with both ends of the bar fixed. One in the frame and the other end is fixed in the lower control arm. As the lower control arm cycles up and down it twists the torsion bar because the other end is fixed in the frame and cannot spin. Torsion bar diameter and length will determine the rate of the bar, just as the wire diameter and the number of coils determine a coil springs rate. The lowering torsion bar key works by changing the indexing of the bar, rotating the hexagon shaped mount. When your truck is setting still, there is a certain amount of weight being held up by the torsion bar. This weight or load is a designed amount and dictates how high your truck sets. The lowering torsion bar key by rotating the index (hex shaped mount) causes that designed load to occur at a lower ride height, while everything else stays the same.
