ReadyLift® Suspension Inc. has used their proven technological engineering methods to produce a SST Suspension Lift System for the 2005-2012 Six-Lug Toyota Tacoma trucks (P/N 69-5055) that lifts the truck 2.75"-3.0". The intermediate Smart Strut Technology system fits all 2005-10 Tacoma and Prerunner models including both 2WD and 4WD models. This kit provides the owner with the opportunity to upgrade to larger wheel and tire combinations up to 33-inches in diameter while retaining the great stock ride and handling characteristics. 32.5" tire diameter is recommended. In order to fit 33" tires you will have to do some minor trimming of the inner fenderwell.
NOTE: ReadyLift®'s objective is to have your truck sit level or slightly below level. Each truck is different so the amount of lift achieved may vary between 2.75" and 3.0" in the front. TRD-equipped trucks often have less rake compared to a non-TRD truck. Measurements on some customer’s trucks have revealed as much as 1.0” difference in the factory front end height.
To compensate for the rake difference on TRD trucks, ReadyLift® recommends using ReadyLift® 2.25" Front Leveling Kit and ReadyLift® 1.0" rear block Kit for a stance that is closer to level when lifted both front and rear.
NOTE: 2011-2012 Tacoma applications: Toyota made minor changes to the Tacoma upper control arm suspension geometry. In some cases adding a leveling kit MAY affect the ability to correct the caster alignment to within factory specifications. If you have a 2011-2012 Tacoma with a leveling kit and the caster alignment specs cannot be put back to factory your truck will require an aftermarket upper control arm with adjustable caster/camber.

So whether you are after the right look or need some additional function from your truck, we highly recommend complete lift kits.
Normally if you are dealing with a complete suspension lift kit this means you will get four new lift springs, mounting hardware, bushings and shock absorbers to match your new springs all in one kit. If it is a body lift kit this means all the appropriate spacers, bushings and hardware to complete the lift. If it is a shackle lift the kit will include shackles, bushings and hardware. However, there is often variation between brands on what is included in a complete lift kit. For example some kits may include extended brake lines or longer shackles in the package in addition to springs, shocks and hardware. On the other hand some companies require you to buy extended brake lines or even shock absorbers separately and only include the basic springs and hardware in the kits.
