Description:
Since 1995 we have been developing and innovating high performance engine parts. Such notable innovations include being the first US based sport compact performance company to offer CNC billet machined timing gears for Honda engines in 1995. The first US based performance company to use chill cast billet camshafts on Honda engines in 1999. And the introduction of the first cast high performance aluminum manifold for Honda engines in 2000. Today we are continuing our tradition of innovation by introducing a new line of engine components made from a proprietary aerospace thermo-polymer and also developing camshafts utilizing our Amax and Fast Ramp technologies.
The Skunk2 Racing Pro-Series Billet Throttle Body increases horsepower and torque by optimizing airflow to your engine. On forced induction applications, this quick bolt-on has shown gains of 50+HP. On high-output naturally aspirated engines, we have seen gains of 10+ hp. Our larger bore throttle bodies are capable of flowing enough air to support over 1000 hp. Skunk2 Pro-Series throttle bodies are precision CNC-machined from forged AL6061-T6 billet aluminum, vacuum tested, and hard anodized for increased durability. With greater reliability and smoother operation, Skunk2 throttle bodies exceed industry standards. We’ve eliminated the factory water lines for cooler operation and each throttle body features a serialized Skunk2 nameplate to ensure authenticity.
Skunk2 is proud to introduce its 68mm and 70mm Pro Series Throttle Bodies for Honda's B-, D-, and H-series engines in its exclusive Black Series, hard anodized finish. Skunk2’s Pro Series Throttle Bodies are designed to be used with factory intake manifolds as well as Skunk2’s Pro Series Intake Manifolds for bolt-on horsepower and torque gains by optimizing engine airflow.
Skunk2 throttle bodies undergo an extensive design and testing process to produce a unit that doesn't just provide more flow, but retains smooth drivability and OEM throttle characteristics. Skunk2 Pro-Series Throttle Bodies are designed using the latest CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) tools to produce a unit that exceeds industry standards. Each Pro-Series Throttle Body is CNC-machined from forged, billet 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized for durability in Skunk2’s signature Black Series finish. Additionally, Skunk2’s unique design relocates the MAP sensor underneath and eliminates the OEM coolant outlets for cooler operation and a cleaner appearance. Pro Series Throttle Bodies are also compatible with your engine’s OEM throttle cable, which simplifies installation. Each Skunk2 Pro Series Throttle body also features sealed bearings for smooth operation and a genuine, integrated Skunk2 badge.
A larger throttle body is key to producing additional power throughout the powerband on modified engines with increased airflow demands. Skunk2’s Pro Series Throttle Bodies for B-, D-, and H-series-series engines feature a 68mm or 70mm bore, which results in significant horsepower gains throughout the powerband on naturally aspirated applications and even more on forced induction ones.
FEATURES:
Large 68mm or 70mm Bore
Black Series Hard Anodized Finish
Compatible With OEM Throttle Cable
CNC-Forged 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum Construction
Sealed Bearings For Smooth Operation
Integrated Skunk2 Badge

Q: What is a throttle body? Why buy a throttle body?
A: Air travels through your intake piping through your throttle body and into the intake manifold. The throttle body, which includes a throttle plate that opens and closes as you press and release the throttle, can be a major bottleneck to air flow on some trucks. A larger throttle body allows more air to pass through, thus creating more power.
Q: How do you install a throttle body?
A: Throttle bodies are easily removed by taking off the factory bolts holding it in place along with all the sensors. Re-connect your sensors to your new throttle body and then install the aftermarket throttle body for power gains.
Q: What is a throttle body? Why buy one?
A: According to wiki, "In a fuel injection engine, the throttle body is the part of the air intake system that controls the amount of air flowing into the engine, in response to driver input. The throttle body is usually located between the air filter box and the intake manifold, and usually attached to, or near, the mass airflow sensor." Aftermarket throttle bodies are designed to let more air through, and simply put more air equals more horsepower. If you want more power, buying a performance throttle body is a great way to go.
