TJM Airtec Snorkels
Fitting a TJM Snorkel means air supply is drawn from roof level providing cooler and cleaner air to the engine.
Because air supply is drawn from roof level, dust is not as thick and plentiful as in the engine bay or inner guard. This will help extend the life of the air cleaner element, reducing wear on vital components. With the sealed TJM Airtec Snorkel and sealed vehicle air box well above water level, you can expect worry free water crossings.
How a TJM Airtec Snorkel dispenses rain water; Rain water drops entering the air ram of a TJM designed snorkel at any velocity will be captured on the back of the inside curved surface, pooled around the base of the air ram and dispersing through the drain holes.

TJM, is a company based out of Australia intent on building high-quality products for off-roading. A: Air intakes are a true bolt-on application. The removal of your factory air box and resonator will be needed and the air intake installed in its place. Basic hand tools are needed, and the intake installs in minutes. If you don't regularly work on your truck yourself, installing an air intake might be a great way to get started and get familiarized because it's perhaps the most simple bolt-on performance upgrade you can do. Alternatively, you can take it to a shop to have it installed and expect the labor cost to be low since it would be an hour or less of labor most likely.
