Gleason gear-cutting technology produces an unprecedented level of accuracy and surface finish, which allows the gears to transmit more torque and improve fuel efficiency. The higher accuracy and surface finish also produces a quieter-running gear set, which means they’ll work great on the daily driver too.

A: The ring and pinion are the gears inside of your axle that take power from the engine and deliver it to the wheels. These gears require precise setup and adjustment in order to work properly. Over the years your ring and pinion may wear down and eventually fail rendering your ride useless. It is also possible that you might want to change your gear ratio for better performance on the track or on the trail. In either case you will need to get yourself a ring and pinion kit. These kits contain a ring gear and a pinion gear in the ratio of your choice as well as all of the necessary components to install the gears. It is important to note that this is a complex mechanical installation that requires an experienced and properly trained tech. Do not attempt this installation at home if you do not have any previous experience.
