GlowShift's 3-in-1 Diesel Combination Gauge is essential for your diesel vehicle if you are towing heavy loads or driving long distances by letting you easily monitor your diesel trucks most important engine functions. GlowShift's 2 3/8th inch (60mm) diesel combo gauge features a 0 to 60PSI analog boost pressure readout, 200 to 2200 degree Fahrenheit blue digital exhaust gas temperature readout, and gives you the option to monitor either your trucks fuel, oil, or air pressure from 0 to 150PSI with a second blue digital readout. This diesel gauge includes some incredible features like stepper motor technology, 10 color through dial lighting, an easy to read illuminated red needle, as well as a magnified lens that allows you to clearly see all gauge readings.
GlowShift's 10 color through dial LED lighting system allows you to easily cycle through 10 solid color options, along with 2 color cycle modes. For easier night time driving this gauge can be dimmed 30% when connected to your factory headlight switch, and with the included color memory recall feature you don't need to worry about adjusting the color of your gauge face every time you turn your truck on. This 3-in-1 Diesel Combination Gauge includes an electronic boost sensor with 8 foot sensor wire, type k thermocouple EGT probe with 6 feet of steel braided cable and a 2 foot sensor wire, along with a 1/8th NPT electronic pressure sensor, with 8 foot sensor wire, that allows you to monitor either your fuel, oil, or air pressure. Q: How do I install a tach in a car that did not come with one? How difficult is it?
A: A tachometer is a great instrument to have in your car. Monitoring your engines RPM will help you shift at the appropriate time to gain the best performance or even better gas mileage. Most aftermarket tachometers only have 3 or 4 wires that need to be connected for operation. A main power wire that gets connected to a 12 volt ignition source, a ground wire, a tach signal wire that connects to the coil or the designated signal wire in your cars wiring diagram, and sometimes a wire to run the light inside the tach for night time use, which can be connected to the same power source as your other dash lights. If your car did not come with a tach, but it was an option for your specific model then there is a good chance the wiring is already in place to run the tachometer. It is best to purchase a factory service manual and carefully study the wiring schematics to determine if the wiring is there or not. The only tools you will need for this wiring job are a pair of wire cutters, a pair of wire strippers, a good pair of wire crimpers, some crimp-on style electrical connectors and a little electrical tape. While this is a pretty simple job, if you are not comfortable using these tools it is best to seek professional help.
