WHY TO BUY?
If your ride is seriously lacking in power, or if you just can't get enough of it, you might want to consider installing a new supercharger kit. The fact that you can literally bolt on gobs of horsepower and torque is a very attractive option, especially when most supercharger kits come with everything you need for installation. Many supercharger kits are also 50-state emissions legal, meaning that you can sport that distinctive blower whine without being worried about getting popped by the po-po.

DID YOU KNOW?
A supercharger is, for all intents and purposes, an air compressor designed to force large amounts of air through your engine. This mass volume of air, in conjunction with the appropriate amount of fuel, combine to create more power than could be accomplished through natural aspiration alone. Supercharger kits can come in many different forms, including centrifugal, Roots-style, and twin-screw, depending on the supercharger kit manufacturer. Each style has its advantages and disadvantages, such as price and efficiency, but all of them will give your ride the kick in the pants it needs to hang with that guy on your block who keeps revving at you every time he drives by.

Q: Does a supercharger kit come with everything you need? Or is there a pre-condition my vehicle needs to meet in order to be able to handle a supercharger kit?
A: When purchasing a supercharger setup they are vehicle specific which means it will come with everything needed for a direct bolt-on. If you're looking to up the boost past the stock 6 to 8 psi that it comes with stock other modifications will need to be made.

Q: What does a supercharger kit do? Why buy a supercharger?
A: A supercharger is a form of forced induction. Superchargers offer perhaps the most dramatic increase in horsepower to your car of any aftermarket products. By compressing the air, it lets the engine stuff more air into a cylinder. More air means that more fuel can be stuffed in, too, so you get more power from each explosion in each cylinder. A supercharger's power supply comes from a belt that connects directly to the engine. It gets its power the same way that your water pump or alternator does.
