If improving performance is on your to-do list, installing a set of aftermarket BMW 1600 sway bars should definitely be in your top five of must-haves. Unless your ride is built mostly for drag racing, in which case many don't run a front sway bar for weight transfer reasons, your BMW 1600 performance will benefit and you'll feel like you're riding on rails after installing a set of BMW 1600 sway bars.

Adding aftermarket BMW 1600 sway bars, also popularly known as "anti-roll bars," is a great way to improve the overall handling of your ride. These sway bars are generally thicker than the original BMW 1600 sway bars, and are therefore stiffer.
